Repost Top 40 Irish Albums

So in the Irish Times on friday 29th Feb, the below list of the best 40 albums was compiled by 4 Ticket rock writers. I found the list interesting due to a couple of exclusions and a few surprises. It is widely acknowledged to the Irish public that the Damien Rice CD "O" would be in the top three accompanied by the joshua tree and astral weeks. I have no complaint about the cd chosen in first place! No room for The Fat Lady Sings? Nine by Damien Rice? Dance the Devil by the Frames? NO Duke Special, Foy Vance, Devlins, Ann Scott, JJ72.....sigh!
