Maria Doyle Kennedy is best known for being the dark haired Commitmentette in the comedy movie The Commitments! She was the singer in The Black Velvet Band at that time in the early 90's. Maria has managed to continue making great music and have a relatively successful acting career. Lately she can be found in The Tudors and she was in Father Ted and the movie Tara Road!
